Flavia Barker
Flavia’s experience as a floral designer spans more than twenty years. Early in her career in finance in Sao Paolo, Flavia loved weekly floral deliveries, a treat to herself. After enrolling in floral design classes with her mother, together they launched Flor em Casa (Flowers at Home) with plans for Flavia to transition to full-time floral entrepreneur as the business grew. But, a family move to the U.S. in 2006 led to a new path. Flavia began freelancing with local florists and teaching floral design classes, ultimately becoming owner of Green of Greenwich in 2012. Over the years, Green of Greenwich continued to expand its clientele and reputation as a premier floral boutique.
Susan Leibowits
Susan partnered with Flavia in 2022. Her career in marketing sparked her love of the creative process which led her to take one of Flavia’s floral design classes. Having developed a friendship with Flavia over the years, and looking to embark on a new career after raising a family, Susan came to work at Green of Greenwich. Her business acumen coupled with on-the-job training across every aspect of the operation was a perfect fit when Flavia was ready to embark on the next chapter of growth for Green of Greenwich.
